It amusing to see folks, regardless of age and gender, flashing their doctorate, that flashy PhDs, and their numerous educational qualification. They readily do this to assert authority, to prove a point, to boost their self-esteem, or merely a good opportunity to increase their profile. What is the value of your education when your behaviour is as cunning as an average thief or a seductive conman? Is there a need to boast of your grand deeds during your time in university?
It is extremely rare for humans to not fall back to vanity, and it does seem as a highly appreciated virtue. Though I think a dying peacock would do better than your attempts.
Arrogance is unavoidable, I guess. Nowadays people would do almost anything to secure new acquaintances, to increase their networks and socialise with the upper class in order to build their reputation. At what cost? To fake and fuck people in order to win favours? To laugh pretentiously so people would call upon you again? Oh Hell, you are as silly as a pox-loving clown. What happened to hard work and building your reputation with your bare hands? Or maybe you have decided that with your paper qualifications, you do not need to do work at all?
People are generally the same, arrogance and pride makes them forget about humility, but then again, I have never said I was a humble person.
