A truly wise person tempers the power she holds over others with compassion for them. A great leader is not one who over-works her subordinates until she alone has the most joy and satisfaction. So, too, are the hard-working social worker and the relentless advocate; those who understand that mercy is a fundamental principle of the Cosmos, and the free-will of the Individual.
