Great Song Kran Days

During April 13rd - 15th, it is the Thais most waiting festival -- Great Song Kran Festival.
People play water on the streets and it is the most funniest festival for the Thai kids,
I can say that, every kids must ever throw water to the strangers once in their lives.

However, not everyone wants to be wet in these days. If you do not want to be wet,
please tell the people clam and seriously that you are preparing to go for business
and have no time to change dry cloth. Be polite, and you will not to be mad on these day.

3G is coming to town..

After waiting for many years, finally AIS (Advance Info Services Co., Ltd.) announces today that starting from next month (May 2008) Chiangmai users will be able to experience with wireless broadband via their handphones. Then Bangkok users will be able to access 3G in June.

By the way, being able to access the 3G, the proper equipment is required. You will have to upgrade SIM card, and 3G supported handsets (and PC Card). Moreover, the cost of using 3G is not finalized yet.

Thai Ex-PM Returns Home

Dr. Thaksin Chinnawatta has returned home today (February 28, 2008) morning. There are thousands of people going to welcome Dr. Thaksin's coming home. He will have to go to the Supreme Court next, and will overnight at the Peninsular Hotel instead of staying at his home just for security purpose.

Power Bill Will Drop

Among bad news about higher cost of living in Bangkok, the Power Authority of Thailand announces today that the FT surcharge for power bills between October 2007 until January 2008 will drop 2.31 Satangs per unit. The FT surcharge will be recalculated quarterly. Good news everyone.

History repeats. Thailand has the another junta. May be it is our own karma.

Since his initial forays into networking and software development in the
early 1990's, most of Ryan Connolly's professional work has been

and a wide variety of smaller ones. Most recently, Ryan has focused
on providing security training, spreading awareness, and assisting with
collaborative efforts in the service provider security community. Ryan
has worked for Team Cymru since 2005 and obtained a computer science
degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in 2001.

Real Time Voting Result



The vote is in between counting. A lot of Thais are waiting and see how the result will be for the Draft Constitution 2007 written by Soldier Government.
