Thai Ex-PM Returns Home

Dr. Thaksin Chinnawatta has returned home today (February 28, 2008) morning. There are thousands of people going to welcome Dr. Thaksin's coming home. He will have to go to the Supreme Court next, and will overnight at the Peninsular Hotel instead of staying at his home just for security purpose.

31 years since October 6, 1976

It was the bloody day. 31 years ago a lot of students and protesters were killed in the Thammasart University by the junta.

History repeats. Thailand has the another junta. May be it is our own karma.

Fighting is never been ending, unless we really get the Democracy.

23rd December Thailand Election

Government by PM Surayuth confirms that Thailand will have an election national wide on December 23rd, 2007. However, still a lot of people are afraid of the postpone.

Real Time Voting Result

The vote is in between counting. A lot of Thais are waiting and see how the result will be for the Draft Constitution 2007 written by Soldier Government. At the moment the result is not finalized yet, but only one region of Thailand people in E-sarn (or North Eastern) do not accept this draft. Visit this page for the Real Time Counting.

Coming Event

There will be the whole country voting if the new constitution should be accepted. The even will be taken place on this coming Sunday the 19th. We will have to wait and see.



BTW, this voting will be not available for the Thais living aboard.
