Our greatest legacy to the next generation; hatred

Blog Living

Mortals taught the world and mortals learned from it. Through the centuries mankind’s influence on each other was incalculable, and its contributions to world civilisation ranged from political propaganda and organised campaign of spite to war and genocide. In turn it owed much of its own richness and diversity in a self-righteous age of black-and-white; the value of life to be ingrained in their psyche.

These connections came about through imperial conquest and greed-infested trade, and even through religion.

The fact that the rich flavours of mankind had flourished in a whirlwind, after thousand of years was not unrelated to the profound belief that they rightly belong there. Our contempt for each other knows no boundaries. Our compassion has vanished beyond the possibility of recovery.

It may be challenging to swim out of the cesspool of redundancy, but it is still possible, not too late, to make a difference – by unleashing the contagious fumes of life. Be bold, inhale the fumes, be the Change that you have been seeking all this while. Be honest, be greater than what you were yesterday.
