Flirting with solitude in a village

Blog

I went, again, to the plantations in the district of Sepang in Malaysia. There’s really nothing here for a city-loving tourist. Fortunately for me, I am not in love with Kuala Lumpur. So left the house at 0930 hours and two hours later I was standing in the middle of nowhere. The weather was perfect, wind whipping my body, the cooling rain and the fresh air. I make regular rural trips, a retreat from the madness of the city.

Lunch was a simple affair, a bit of rice, prawns with red hot chili and spicy fish (ikan goreng belado). Life away from the city is simple and refreshing « invigorating to the soul, flirting with solitude.
