I Shall Call You…

Blog

Ever wonder why society seems to be running aimlessly in circles in a hamster’s wheel? Simply because of apathy. Not apathy from the government, civil society or corporations, though they are largely to be blamed for generating their own sense of complacency.

The apathy is from the everyday folk, “less distinguished” members of society. People who prefer to work day in and day out, caring little (or none at all) for Life itself.

When was the last time you stopped and helped the begger on the street, the homeless woman living under the busy bridge, or the streetkid playing with his friend on the polluted road.

When was the last time you assisted a disabled man cross the road, helped the elderly woman with her grocery bag, or jumped in to mediate between two men arguing heatedly?

When? Don’t remember? Good. Now classify yourself as a redundant member of society.

Beginning now, I shall call you Apathy.
